Olmsted
Point by the light of the full moon.
Olmsted
point is famous as a viewpoint into Yosemite Valley. But it's
unique granite formations along with it's scattering of boulders
make it photogenic in its own right.
Yosemite
was carved by massive glaciers during our last ice age. Every
one of the boulders strewn on the point was transported there
from somewhere else by the glacier then deposited as the glacier
melted.
The
diagonal white streaks in the sky are star trails.
